Summer soccer in Ephraim (notice someone still needs a blanket....in McAllen at baseball practice and games......we WISH FOR air conditioning. It has been in the high 80's plus some humidity.
Ben update: Still eating well...still needing to be able to eat and not use more calories when he eats than what he gets from his milk. We are still praying so hard for that to happen.
Shad flew out last night. He is the early riser so needless to say...he is already being missed.
Yesterday's excitement at the Bradshaw home: Jer got home from dropping Shad off at the airport and seeing Andrea and Ben LAST NIGHT. He hadn't had a chance to look at his mail so he sat at the table and started going through it. There were three letters from the McAllen Police Dept. One regarding Jake, one for Will, and one for Ty. It was also addressed to Jer and Andrea in regards to the week of school the boy's missed while they were in Utah. We knew they were very crazy about taking kids out of school for more than 3 days without a note from the Dr., but Andrea had called the school from her hospital bed to discuss it and they said it would be okay. Will even facetimed with his class twice a day.
Any way, Jer was teasing the boys saying they would all have to spend some time in jail. Will, who is 8 years old, said, "Well I guess I can check going to jail off my bucket list of things to do before I am 10. Then 4 year old Bo chimed in and said, "Don't worry ......I will tell the cops jokes at the door and distract them while Grammy get's them out the back." Seriously, all I could think is......LIKE FATHER .....LIKE SONS!
