Always remembering Ben!

Today we are remembering Ben....like always. It really doesn't have to be memorial day for us to remember him because he is always on our minds, in our hearts, and near us until we are reunited forever.  At that time this life will seem such a glimpse of time compared to eternity and we will say , "All is well."
Today Jer flies into Las Vegas and will begin his new job as the COO at Desert Springs Hospital.  In about 6 to 8 months he will move into the CEO position.  It had always been his goal to be the CEO before he turned 40.  Now he is not wanting to leave McAllen (this is a bad time for both Jer and Andrea to move).  They love their ward so deeply.  They love the people at Jer's work.  They are surrounded by wonderful and kind people.  Jer will continue to go back to McAllen each weekend until they are able to replace him as the Bishop.  He didn't want to be the Bishop...now he doesn't want to leave his ward and being a CEO before he is forty really doesn't bring joy to him.  They are simply moving now because their goal has always been to bring their family closer to home to settle down.  The week days of being apart will be hard on Jer and Andrea.  We are saying extra prayers for their family!
