We have always prayed that we would never have this experience. We have especially prayed that we would never have to watch our children go through the loss of a child. I know that Heavenly Father sees the big plan and that we were so blessed to have Ben with us for this short time....and sealed to us for eternity. I know this was part of his plan....BUT....IT DOESN'T MAKE IT EASY OR NOT HURT. I know we will grieve for this earthly loss for the rest of our lives, but we are now more determined than ever to live our lives to that we will always be with BEN AND WITH ALL OF OUR FAMILY. We look at life with an eternal perspective that we never saw before. This is a bittersweet birthday. While we are missing Ben, and yet we are so grateful for our children and their families....we realize that we CAN AND WILL BE REUNITED AGAIN. WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR THE GOSPEL AND ETERNAL FAMILIES. THAT IS THE GREATEST GIFT WE EVER RECEIVE!
