Janessa was ready to run when she got to her track meet.......(and it was an early day to have all those heads of hair done and in Nephi for Shannon). BE READY!
Do nice things for each other.......Hyrum had already given me my flowers, and the other kids were just ready to give them to me. BE KIND!
Andrea never left the hospital while Ben was there, and Jer did an amazing job juggling the boys at home, his Bishop's work, and his hospital work. They did this because they love their family so much, and now they have no regrets. They both stepped into the roles they needed to take on at the time, and it wasn't easy for either of them Jer was able to stay with Ben at first and then stop by several times a day....then before and after work....LONG DAYS. , BUT THEY DID IT. THEY DID WHAT THEY NEEDED TO DO FOR THEIR FAMILY! Also, because of Jer's position in the hospital, Andrea was able to stay there the whole time....how thankful we are for that tender mercy.
I am so very grateful that Ben was so loved while he was here. I am so thankful that all of my grandchildren are so loved by their parents. SO I GUESS WE ALL NEED TO SHOW UP, BE KIND, AND SHOW LOVE. THOSE ARE THINGS WE WILL NEVER REGRET DOING. A life lesson I didn't think I needed to learn....but it was reinforced so painfully.
