So pretty in pink. Madelyn has been a little princess from the day she was born. The year she was born there was so much influenza that the other kids couldn't go to the hospital to see her. It seemed like a long wait for them.
Madelyn is making the best of her candy on her first Halloween. It is funny to look back and see how each child has a little more freedom than the one before.
I took this picture...it was the Halloween she first walked to go trick or treating. There were a lot of moments like this when she just wanted to stop and eat the candy she had gotten already. What a cute Carebear!!
The true "princesses" have arrived by this time. This wasn't just her Halloween Costume.....it was her EVERYDAY PLAYWEAR! SHE STILL IS USUALLY IN SOME KIND OF PRINCESS COSTUME AND SLIPPERS WHEN SHE IS HOME!
Yes....this is Madelyn's everyday wear....she loves to be the princess.....except when she is pretending to be the puppy....and at the point, Karlie and I join her and follow her directions. She is very good at giving directions, and Karlie is very good at doing what Madelyn tells her to do. It is really very comical to watch them play together. Sometimes I forget I am suppose to be playing with them (and not just observing) and Madelyn quickly get's me back on task.
She has such an imagination that it makes her mad if I forget what I am doing and laugh. She is very serious about the roles we are each suppose to play.
She is one of the toughest kids I know. She has to be hurt pretty badly to get a tear out of her. She just jumps up and says she is OK. Maybe that just comes with being the 4th child.
She is really enjoying going to her little Pre-School this year, and also the daily one that she does with her mom....BECAUSE IF THE BIG KIDS CAN DO IT....SHE CAN DO IT TOO!
I LOVE THE WAY SHE TALKS SO FAST TRYING TO GET HER STORY IN BEFORE ANYONE ELSE. SHE HAS LEARNED TO STAND UP FOR HERSELF.
