KAR...KAR...

LOVE YOU!

She says the funniest things.  One day she put her cheek on the couch and said, "Mom, my face is stuck to the couch.".....and she just keeps the sayings coming!

Oh how tiny....and now you have almost grown as tall as Madelyn.  I think one of my favorite things about Karlie is listening to her talk.  She kind of has a husky sound in her voice that you don't expect to come from a little girl.

Karlie had more hair than Shannon's other babies....we thought she would after all the heartburn Shannon had during her pregnancy.  I have only seen 2 OF MY GRANDCHILDREN BORN...ALLIE AND KARLIE.....IT WAS VERY PRECIOUS!

That smile has been a constant with Karlie.  She loves to me outside....and she loves to swing.  Most of the time she spends following Madelyn around.  Those little legs have gotten so they can run pretty fast as she tries to keep up with her.  She loves it when Grandpy takes her to feed the sheep (well I am not sure which of them loves it more...but she does love it).
She has started gymnastics with Madelyn, and Shannon told me that she spends a great deal of her time waving to her mom.  I wish we could get there to see her in class at least once.  Sometimes she tells her teacher, "I tant do that"....but when he teacher tell her that she CAN....she says, "OH TAY"...and then she does it.  My favorite thing about Karlie is when we got to their house.....she comes running as fast as she can and my legs stop her (I actually have to hold her up to keep her standing).....and she yells...."YOU'RE HERE GRAMEE"!   THAT IS A WELCOME THAT MAKES ME HAPPY!!!!!!

Then SHE GRABS MY HAND AND TAKES  ME INTO THE ROOM SHE SHARES WITH MADELYN AND SHOWS ME HER BED...AND SHE IS SO PROUD THAT SHE SLEEPS IN MADELYN'S ROOM.  OH LITTLE KAR...KAR.....WE LOVE YOU FOREVER..AND EVER..AND EVER!!!!!  HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY!
