Oh...look at that face.  Hyrum has had the best temperament since he was a baby.  I had never seen such a content little one.  Oh how I miss those days....but I am thankful that you still like to give us hugs!

Hyrum was just so happy.  I remember when Abigail would throw her food on the floor and Hyrum would crawl around and finish it for her....WHAT A GOOD BOY!

There has never been any jealousy as more siblings have arrived.  He has welcomed them and loved them from the start.

However....I don't think he was sure about holding this newborn (Spencer) to pose for pictures.

Look at that SMILE!  HIS SMILE STILL LIGHTS UP MY WORLD!

I think he was trying to tell us that it is hard to smile with blue bubble gum in your mouth.  Hyrum has not only been such a great brother.....he has also been a great cousin...and HAS  looked to make sure that no one was being left out!

Just a little miniature golf...or any sport.....and talk about stats!  This boys knows them all.  I could see him being a great sports commentator, but it would be such a waste of his mind.  He really is a genus!!

Even though he is so smart....he never throws it in your face....but beware....he is not missing a thing that is going on.  He was on a scholastic team that did very well in their state.  He really never ceases to amaze me!

HIS ALL TIME FAVORITE SPORT IS SOCCER.....I KNOW WHY HE LOVES IT SO MUCH...IT IS BECAUSE HE IS SO GOOD AT IT.  OH HOW I WISH WE COULD WATCH EVERY GAME....AND NOW WITH FACETIME....I AM THINKING IT MIGHT BE POSSIBLE!

Hyrum's personality has so many aspects.  He is such a cute magician.  He truly wears many HATS!!

Hyrum would read non-stop if you would let him.  HYRUM LOVES TO BE INVOLVED IN A GOOD BOOK, READ HIS SCRIPTURES, AND JUST READ ABOUT ANYTHING INTELLECTUAL.  WHAT IS TRULY AMAZING IS THE WAY HE RETAINS EVERYTHING HE READS, SEES, AND HEARS.  Although Hyrum is so smart, the thing that thrills me about him is that he is so young, but he already has his priorities in place.  He talks about going on a mission a lot.  He talks about the fact that he would like to attend Stanford.  He thinks about things that most boys his age never think about.  I ESPECIALLY LOVE THAT HE THINKS ABOUT SPIRITUAL THINGS.  I THINK HE REALLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN OUR SWEET LITTLE BEN PASSED AWAY.  HE REALLY UNDERSTOOD THE ATONEMENT AND WHAT IT MEANT IN KNOWING THAT WE WILL BE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY FOREVER.He can be so tough....but he can be so TENDER.   He is so smart....BUT HE CAN ALSO BE SO HUMBLE.  He has a special spirit with him, and we love him so very much!  We hope your BIRTHDAY IS THE BEST....WE LOVE YOU FOREVER...AND EVER....AND EVER!
