This pictures was taken at the time of his baby blessing in Rochester. He always had a mild temperament. He didn't get that from our side of the family.
However.....those big eyes look like most of our grand children's eyes. I don't know how it seemed that we saw him quite a bit when he was little....but I guess we made more trips there and they made more trips home. We really enjoyed him!
It didn't take long for him to join in with his other cousins.....and especially Janessa and Spencer that were born in the same year. However, Will can play with any of the cousins and get along great.
I can tell that is Andrea's wedding ring around Will's waist. This picture was taken in Ephraim when they were home for Scandinavian Days. We always had a great time with them when they came home.
This picture was taken at Shannon's house. Will is very artistic and he loves doing things like making Gingerbread Houses. (This was on Thanksgiving). He also loves to sit and draw. He is very talented!
He has a funny sense of humor, and can take it(and give it back) when Grandpy decides to tease him. He catches on to a lot of jokes that most kid's his age would not catch!
He is always up for having a good time....especially with the cousins. I think he really enjoys being with his cousins as much as anything else he does!
This is Will teasing me. His hand that is down is just waiting for me to turn the water on so he can grab the sprayer and get me wet. What a cute boy!
Will really loves his brothers. They love growing up together and really miss sweet Ben. It is so evident in their actions and their prayers. I wish he could see how close Ben really is to him.
Will loves the water!! Swimming and water games are among the things he likes best! It is even more fun when he has his brothers and cousins with him!

Will had a great time playing basketball this past winter. It was his first time playing and if I were to give him an award it would definitely be MR. HUSTLE. He was all over the place and played the best defense. He is also very coach able. Just before basketball ended, he started taking guitar lessons and really loves that. He is also taking piano lessons now. He is the only grand child we have that has decided he wants to give wrestling a try and he is now doing that. Soon he will start conditioning for football (flag). Will also does great in school and does his homework without having to be asked. He is very patient when he is doing his homework. He will sit and try to figure it out before asking for help. Will also enjoys being with his family with the many things they do together. He had a great time at Duck Creek, and is looking forward to their vacation to Yellowstone next week. I think these are his favorite times. I have never seen a child that likes to climb the way Will does. Sometimes he has me in a panic with his climbing and doesn't seem to "get" the reason it makes me nervous, because he is not afraid at all! This past weekend when they were here, Shad and I were downstairs playing with the 3 boys after church on Sunday. They were a little tired and I saw a side of Will that I couldn't remember seeing. He was leaning back on me (we were on the couch) and I was tickling his back (Will is not usually a cuddlier). Every once in a while I would just lean over and kiss the top of his head an he was great with that. That was really fun for me because I can't remember the last time that happened. Thank you Will for that great time we had together. We love you more than you will ever know (forever and ever). WE HOPE THAT YOUR BIRTHDAY IS FILLED WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS AND WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN THIS WEEKEND!!
