WHAT A LONG DAY.....

FINALLY THE SCOPES ARE DONE, AND HYRUM IS GOING TO HAVE TO STAY ON THIS DIET THAT IS SO PAINFUL FOR HIM AT LEAST UNTIL NEXT TUES. WHEN THE LAB RESULTS COME BACK.
HOWEVER, ON A GOOD NOTE....HE TOLERATED THE PROCEDURE WELL, AND BOTH SCOPES WENT WELL.   WITHOUT THE LAB WORK, THEY WERE ABLE TO SAY WITH A 99% CERTAINTY  THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE CRONES DISEASE OR ULCERTIVE COLITIS.  THAT IS VERY POSITIVE.  ON THE OTHER HAND..HE HAD SOME PATCHY RED SPOTS IN HIS SMALL INTESTINE THAT COULD INDICATE CELIAC DISEASE.  THE LAB RESULTS WILL TELL US IF IT IS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE.  OF COURSE OUR PRAYERS ARE FOR HIM TO HAVE SOMETHING THAT HE COULD POSSIBLY GROW OUT OF LIKE A GLUTEN INTOLERANCE.
PERSONALLY, I HAVE HAD A HARD DAY JUST KNOWING OF THE PAIN HE CONTINUES TO HAVE EVEN THOUGH WE ARE SO GRATEFUL THAT THEY DID NOT SEE ANYTHING THAT LOOKED LIFE THREATENING.
UNTIL THE LAST YEAR AND 1/2....MY EXPERIENCE AS A GRANDMOTHER HAS TRULY BEEN ONE OF JOY BEYOND MEASURE.  IT IS NOT THAT WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT PROBLEMS.  I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT MY HEART COULD HOLD SO MUCH LOVE FOR SO MANY PEOPLE INDIVIDUALLY.
I ALSO DIDN'T REALIZE THE PAIN MY HEART COULD HAVE UNTIL OUR PRECIOUS BEN CROSSED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VEIL WHERE WE CAN'T PHYSICALLY SEE HIM (ALTHOUGH WE DO FEEL HIS PRESENCE).  THE PAIN CAN NOT BE DESCRIBED.  THE PAIN OF WATCHING HIS FAMILY MISS HIM CAN'T BE DESCRIBED.  I ONLY WISH THAT NO ONE HAD TO FEEL THAT PAIN.  WE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR JER AND ANDREA'S FAMILY, AND ALSO RHETT AND MELISSA'S FAMILY.
NOW I AM WATCHING HYRUM GO THROUGH SUCH PHYSICAL PAIN...FOR SUCH A LONG TIME AND IT BREAKS MY HEART.  WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU HYRUM.  WE LOVE YOU AND EACH GRANDCHILD MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.
