I have a lot more pictures of Jake because I get them off from Boulder high school‘s Instagram page. Also he is pretty good to send pictures to me. It makes me want to cry to think that he is 18. It seems like it was only yesterday that he was two years old and I went back to Rochester to tend him while his parents went to Dallas to look for a house and took baby Will with them. He was the best baby. Except for Sunday… We went to the mall every day and I would put him in a little fire engine that he pretended he was driving. I would shop and he would drive. Then we would stop and get ice cream cones. Oh how I miss those days. Jake now loves football, wrestling, dates, especially church, and being the best example for everyone around him. His smile still lights Up my life And when people are being unfair with him I am not very Christlike in my thoughts. I guess I need to repent. I need to be more like Jake. I have never heard him complain about going to do something of service… Or just be a friend to someone that needs one. He is outgoing, funny, and I know he thinks I’m silly sometimes but it’s OK… He still loves me. We couldn’t love him more and we couldn’t be more proud of him and the young man he is. We hope he knows that we are always there for him if he needs us and that we love him with our whole hearts. We hope this 18th birthday is awesome and that he will get to do something really fun to celebrate because he likes to have fun We love you Jake forever and ever and ever. We just couldn’t love you anymore!
With Jake it has always been and always will be FAITH...FAMILY...FOOTBALL....here's a few pictures I captured in Moapa!
SINGING THE SCHOOL SONG....CAPTIONS BEFORE THE GAME.
WE LOVE HIM A ZILLION TIMES MORE THAN HE LOVES FOOTBALL. WE ALSO LOVE IT WHEN HE CALLS TO SHARE THE DETAILS IN HIS LIVE BECAUSE WE TREASURE EACH ONE....JUST LIKE WE TREASURE HIM.......FOREVER!!!!!
