Hyrum… so much love for him!

A few Sundays ago Hyrum received a very special patriarchal blessing. I told him I expected them to call him as a mission president well he got it… All he needs is a wife.

Hyrum likes to make funny faces and when they brought these flowers down for my birthday we were in the living room for a picture of Nate and Shannon is framed and Nate and Shannon are pulling funny faces… Nate’s is the best and I just told Hyrum to imitate Nate. I think he did a great job!

These pictures are from the last time he was down here he was at uncle Howard and aunt Laverne’s and he found these treasures.

The hat goes off for the name Bradshaw!
You would think that this picture would make me sick but I had prayed for the surgery to happen for such a long time that it was such a great day of celebration that it had All gone smoothly. He is already doing so much better and we know our prayers have been answered.
He is one tough kid and I don’t know what heavenly father has in store for him but he has certainly prepared him because he has born his trials and such away that he couldn’t be more Christlike.
This goes on forever and ever

And the final product an arm that finally works and feels better. Prayers are answered miracles happen.

He has gotten to make a couple of trips to Cincinnati… I don’t think it’s your normal Happy vacation but it was sure a happy time for me to get his arm fixed
Miracles and more miracles
And nothing sweeter than us
One of Hyrum’s favorite places on their vacation this summer
One of their last dinner together. They are so close in age that they have never been separated this long.

Going to the Jazz game with uncle Jer and his kids is always a bonus! Thanks uncle Jer
I don’t know where Spencer was when we took this picture I have some of the priesthood holders and soon to be priesthood holders at Elise’s  baptism They are a bunch of really man hyrum has been able to drive to beaver and visit with us a few times and I can tell you that those have been the highlight of our year. We don’t often get one on one time with the grandchildren and anytime we can get that… Right here in our home I feel like our heavenly father has poured out his richest blessings upon us. We got to visit with Hyrum. He is so spiritual and yet I told him he could you just stand up comedy as a back up for a profession because he is so funny. This boy has a 36 on his ACT test… Could teach college classes… It really boggles our minds that he is so intelligent. The thing that makes us the happiest is his work ethic, his love for his family, the way he takes care of his siblings, the way he magnifies his priesthood and his callings, and most of all the strong testimony and knowledge of the gospel that he has. When we do come follow me with him.

He never ceases to amaze me. He stepped right into the father role and makes our lessons so much more interesting. He knows the questions to ask to get the answers he needs. He truly is one in a zillion! We love you so much Hyrum and we know that you are going to do great and amazing things in mind the children of men. That is not setting the bar too high for you… That is just what you were going to do. We could not love you more… We love you forever and ever and hope that your birthday is simply amazing!

Nate the great… Our favorite son-in-law!

Thanks to zoom we were able to get a picture of Nate talking in stake conference. If we would’ve never gotten that before. We love to hear him speak but don’t get to hear him often!

Nate wears many hats really! Not only does he wear many hats for real he wears many hats in his life but I think this is his favorite line being a husband and father and we are so thankful for that!
It’s great to have your dad in the stake presidency for seminary graduation. He does have a special report with the youth… He taught missionary prep for so long and I think it was his favorite job!
He starting to know what it feels like to have children graduate and leave. It’s not a good feeling and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but it’s better than the alternative. He is a wonderful father
I think they had a great time in this cool ride. For graduation

After graduation they got together with the Thompson’s and flew to the church history sites… Niagara Falls… And a lake near Palmyra.
Now it isn’t a real chat for a night if you don’t get to take in a baseball game… We’re so happy they did.
Their family has never been to Hawaii and they wanted to get that in before Allie graduated We are sure thankful they did.

Best of all he got a kiss from his sweetheart. I absolutely love this picture
For Allie’sbirthday it’s not her birthday unless they go to Lagoon and Nate likes it as much as she does. This time they got to take someone special that will be joining their family. Nate and Braxton remind me a lot of each other so they will have so much fun together.
And then there’s all that time that he puts into his kids hobbies… What a great father to turn his children’s hobbies into his and he is such a good coach. He is that coach that you admire that keeps his cool but still stands up for the girls when they are being treated unfairly… He just does it in a calm way.

Nate with his assistant coach… Post game preview
And white with coaching be without a gift like hairspray from the girls. The girls love him so much… Well actually Janessa loves him the most but the girls on the team do you love him. No matter the hat he is wearing… Stake president co. pharmacist, father, husband, Soon to be father-in-law, ministering, Best son-in-law in the world and the list goes on and on. He does each with finesse, spirituality, And love. What more could we want we are so blessed to have him in our family and we hope he knows that we appreciate the warm welcome we always receive when we Go to their home. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to not feel comfortable around your son-in-law and I’m thankful I don’t have to imagine that because he is the best. We love him forever and ever… He might get a little tired of hearing that but he will keep hearing that. It’s because we don’t know how else to show him how much we love him. We hope your birthday is the very very best Happy happy birthday!

She’s way too young to be 40! FORTY PICS TO CELEBRATE...WE LOVE HER!

I lost count on the pictures but I know I have at least 40 so I am going to just comment on each picture rather than write a big paragraph at the end. The one above reminds me of how special she makes each of her chick children feel
This picture reminds me of how she loves to take her family on little outings to make many memories  That are priceless.
This picture reminds me of how she has taught her girls everything they will need to know when they get older… She is a wonderful mother to all of her children.
This picture reminds me that she is never afraid to try new things.
Seriously… Who starts to run their own 5K at 40 years old… Only Tasha!
Look at how happy it makes her family to have her join them… Special times
We both get a kick out of the face that Hyrum pulls but this one is a classic. What a boy that we love!

Great memories from so many years ago in Minnesota where are sweet Abigail is now serving her mission.
we did have some fun times while they were there
What a special night for Tasha and her whole family has Abigail received her mission call to none other than…
Minnesota… Her childhood home. I think Tasha’s face tells the story of how we all felt
Tasha has always worked with her kids so hard I’m getting there young women medallions and another medallion and the next one I can think of what it is
Grandpy and I can be quite a handful and she is so good to always put up with us and make us feel so welcome… We love her so much
She has been in this position many times I don’t know how she’s done it
She has also had the joy of having them all together many times but it is anything that peace and quiet when she gets home and she still copes lovingly .
She has taught these girls to be loving little mothers… What could be more important.
She is so supportive and makes everything so special for each child. This was a very special day
I have mixed feelings about this… I would’ve loved to of been there but I don’t know if I could’ve taken it. Tasha is pretty strong to send a girl on a mission
Tasha and Justin are I was on the same page and make sure that they get to Temple’s wherever they are visiting to show the kids the important things

Yeah it’s a little offTo not have Abigail in this family picture but we were so thankful she was able to zoom in for the baptism… I know Tasha was so thankful

And here they are with their missionary girl. She has every reason to be so very proud and

She is so good to be interested in family history and my families genealogy this is When we were in enterprise

Of course they are such good friends with Mary Ann and Les And we got to go into grandma and grandpa’s attic for the first time since I was a little girl thanks to these guys.
We went to the Old cemetery. There was a flag on my dad’s grave and they reverently all said the Pledge of Allegiance. Look what she is teaching them
Four generations at the temple when she received her endowments… That was pretty special!

What a spiritual day for all three of them
I love the way she puts his pictures together for her chat books. She is so good at taking many many pictures and putting them together and books.

Of course there is nothing that could make me more happy

Mother and oldest daughter… A special bond
Inside the Manderfield church talking about old times. I think these experiences are so much better than just reading about them and this was Tasha’s idea
It was either the fourth or 20 Fourth of July and as you can see you had turned off rainy and chilly
I am thankful that she has taught her children they don’t have to go on a big trip to have fun… A backyard picnic is wonderful
They have surely gone through a lot of firsts over the last few years. This first serve especially hard on moms and she has taking it like a champ
We love her happiness and her laugh
We love the way she loves to do family meals and have everyone around
We love that she puts just an as her top priority.
We also learned that she puts her children as your top priority

We love that she spends one on one with each child.
We love that she and Justin take special time for each other

As you can see it is all about gospel and family and we wouldn’t have it any other way we are so blessed to have her in our family and as a mother to our grandchildren we love her forever and ever. I have had a bit of a rough go of things the last few months and she has been so good to call and check on me and talk to me about it. I can’t Express my gratitude. We love you forever and ever and hope that your 40th birthday is over the top!
